baby dress knitting pattern 1920s

*BD Betty: Great vintage baby dress knitting pattern from around 1920. These little dresses are from a book left to my by my Great Grandmother over 50 years ago. I have knitted several of them over the years and they work out very nicely - ribbons help with some of the plainer ones. Length is given but not chest measurement as the style give freedom of sizing. Mostly knitted in vintage 3ply, so try modern 4ply in a tension square. This one is for 16 inch length so would be for quite a small toddler, probably 18-20 inch chest. This is the familiar feather and fan pattern so popular throughout the years.
