vintage ladies fair waist coat knitting pattern

*Weldons B1052: Fabulous vintage fair isle knitting pattern for waistcoat and shirt early 1950s. This is a lovely pattern, the waistcoat is knitted in 3ply, so try modern 4ply in a tension square and change needles if needed, the back is plain. To fit 34-36 inch bust. The lines in the tartan are created by embroidering chain stitch. The blouse or shirt is worked in vintage 2ply so try modern 3ply in a tension square, this is a very useful pattern and can be worked in any colour you like. It has a collar and 10 little buttons up the front, but they start above the deep ribbed welt. The shirt is shaped to give a tailored fit and there are little cuffs on the short sleeves. An unusual pattern. Worth a bit of effort. Pattern is in very nice vintage condition.
