Lady Ruth Wools: Great vintage ladies twin set knitting pattern from 1940s. So pretty! This design has a cardigan with peplum and deep rib sweater to match. Set in sleeves and beautiful fit worked in what was called open line pattern. Knitted in vintage 3ply  that was similar to modern 4ply. Always work a tension square. To fit 34-36 inch bust. Beautiful retro knitting pattern.

Easy to knit in modern 4ply. Always work a tension square. To fit 32 inch bust, knit in double knitting wool on size large needles for 34 -35 inch bust, but allow more wool if you do this.

Ladyship 3103: Great vintage classic cardigan knitting pattern from 1950s. This lace panel V neck style was very popular through out the 1950s - I remember making one for myself at the end of the decade. Deep welt and set in sleeves, easy to knit and super smart. To fit 33-34 inch bust and 35-36 inch bust. This one is knitted in what was known as chubby wool which would have been similar to a chunky, but not too thick perhaps try an Aran style wool and change needles to get the correct tension.

Ladyship 3131: Great vintage knitting pattern for ladies jacket 1950s. This pattern has instructions for a stylish jacket call The Ascot Coat. Knitted in chubby wool which was similar to an Aran or chunky (not too thick) Tension is 5.5 stitches and 6.5 rows to 1 inch square (2.5cm) on imperial no 6 (5mm) this should help in choosing your wool. To fit almost 34 and almost 36 inch bust. It has plain stocking stitch sleeves, back and fronts in simple ridge pattern.
