vintage mens knitting pattern 1950s

Patons 83M: Great vintage Patons silver pattern mens waistcoats 1950s. What a fabulous pattern! This one is from the early 1950s and is so retro! There are three designs of waistcoat that would look as smart today as they did over 60 years ago. Office, casual, party or wedding they are super fashion accessories. I have a lot of waistcoat patterns, all sizes and designs on site. These three are knitted in double knitting yarn but still work a tension square. There is one worked in a honeycomb pattern, one in a plain stocking stitch and the other one is brushed once knitted (this really only works if pure wool is used or a ready brushed yarn)  To fit  38-40-42 inch chest.
