Bestway 604:  Vintage toy knitting patterns including a Teddy Bear, no size stated probable 16-17", only a guess mind you, the red riding hood outfit is to fit a 17"doll and the ball is crochet and designed as a pram toy all knitted in oddments of 3 and 4ply.

Several magazines made a range of clothes for them. Here there are instructions for double breasted coat trousers and beret. modern 3ply can be used and these are easy to convert to for other 6 inch bears.

Good Friends-George and Edward: Great vintage knitting pattern for a Teddy and a Golly from the early 1930s. Again there are no sizes given. George is bold and bright with a super bow at his neck and Edward is a serious rather chunky bear who can be knitted in a ready brushed yarn or if using pure wool brush afterwards. Knitted in a 4ply yarn but can be knitted in double knitting, but will take more yarn and be bigger. Pattern includes both toys to make.

Easy to knit as again design for 5-6 year old to knit at school. Basically knitted in squares with minor shaping.
